Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Cape May Roofing Experts (“we”) collects through capemayroofingexperts.com, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It describes what this website actually does; it will be updated if that changes.

Information you give us

When you submit a roofing request through the form on this site, we receive:

• Contact information: your name and phone number (required), and email address (optional).
• Property information: property address, city and ZIP code, if you choose to provide them.
• Your request: the roofing service you selected, your message and your preferred contact method.
• Your agreement that we may contact you about this request, recorded as submitted.

If you call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us. We do not ask for, and you should not send, Social Security numbers, financial account details or identity documents.

Information collected automatically

• Always, to run the site: standard technical data processed by our hosting provider to deliver pages and keep the site secure (for example IP address, browser type and request time in server logs), and a short-lived first-party record of the page you landed on, kept in your browser for the current session and sent only if you submit the form.
• Form context: when you submit a request, the page you submitted it from, the page you first arrived on, the referring site, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (such as utm_source or an ad click ID). This tells us which pages and campaigns lead to roofing requests.
• Security and anti-spam signals: a hidden field and form timing check; and, where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates signals about your browser to tell people from bots.
• Only with your Analytics consent: page views, clicks on phone, email and estimate links, form start and submit events, a random visitor identifier and session identifier, the referring site and campaign parameters, and browser/device information (browser and OS family, device type, screen size, language). These are collected by the measurement tools listed in our Cookie Policy.

A “call click” means only that a phone link was pressed. It does not tell us whether a call connected or what was said.

How we use information

• To respond to your roofing request and arrange an inspection, estimate or repair.
• To keep records of requests and the work that follows.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages and campaigns lead to requests (analytics only with consent).
• To protect the site and the form from spam and abuse.

Submitting a roofing request is permission to contact you about that request. It is not consent to marketing texts, promotional emails, automated or prerecorded promotional calls, newsletters or advertising, and we do not treat it as such.

Who we share information with

• Roof Leads Center (roofleadscenter.com), the customer-relationship system we use to receive, store and manage roofing requests and, with consent, website analytics.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Cloudflare, if Turnstile anti-spam verification is enabled on the form.
• Google, only if Google Analytics is configured and you allow Analytics.
• Authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. No advertising or remarketing pixels are used on this site.

Your choices

• Change your cookie choices at any time with the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
• Global Privacy Control signals are honoured as an opt-out of targeted advertising and sale/sharing.
• See Your Privacy Choices, or make an access, correction, deletion or opt-out request through our privacy request form.

Phone links, email links and the roofing request form work the same whether or not you accept optional cookies.

Retention and security

We keep roofing-request records for as long as needed to respond, carry out and document any work, and meet legal and business record-keeping obligations. Information is sent over encrypted connections; access to the CRM is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we will act promptly on any incident.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging roofing services. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
